A tactile piece of local history. This 11x14-inch rubbing on paper is rendered entirely with reclaimed charcoal gathered from the sites of the Eaton Fire across Altadena between January and July 2025. Each impression was captured directly from the fire's remaining debris—artifacts that have since been swept away and no longer exist. Moving and irreplaceable, this piece stands as one of the final physical remnants and visual records of a changing Altadena landscape.
